Todd was called to pastor at Central in January 2022. Since that time, the church has grown not only in membership, but in focusing on going outside the “church walls” to participate in missions and service to the community, thereby growing spiritually through discipleship as seen by the many baptisms and the new ministries now available at Central. We are also very thankful for his family, Traci his wife of 21+ years and their two sons Trey and Turner who willingly share their time and talents serving at Central.

Pastor Todd’s ministry philosophy: “I believe in small group discipleship, keeping families in highest regard, developing highly trained volunteers, working as a team, and that I don’t know it all. I believe the Great Commission is not optional for the believer and the Christian life, while impossible on our own strength, it a journey with Jesus, not a destination.

 

Bro. Brooks Jordan

Associate Pastor/Senior Adult Ministry

Brooks and his wife Kim have been serving at Central for several years having served in the Children and Youth Ministeries. His most recent challenge is taking on the Senior Adult Ministry. We look forward to what God has in store for our Senior Adults (ages 55 and up).

Robert Marano

Minister of Music

Originally, Robert came to Central in 2022 to help develop, nurture and grow our praise team, then move on to do the same for other churches. God made a change! Since coming to us, he has grown our paise team from 3 to over 15 members. We went from soundtracks to a full band and now have a wide variety of vocal talents! We are very blessed to have Robert, his wife Kristi, and their children Zach, Cameron and McKenna as a part of our church family.

Jerry & Kendall Ammons
Jerry was born and raised in Columbus, GA. He and his wife Kendall have been married for 31+ years and They have 2 children, Jacob (Haley) and Tyler. They have one granddaughter Emersyn Rae. Jerry enjoys spending time with his family and his favorite place is the beach!

Jerry (Youth Pastor) is passionate about planting seeds in those who don’t have a relationship with Christ and guiding the ones who do know Christ closer in their relationship with Him.

Mara Lillia Maximiano

Childrens/Praise Team Ministries

Mara began serving at Central in November 2023 as the Children’s Ministry Assistant and Praise Team Assistant. Mara has served a leader/coordinator of a children’s ministry since she was a young teenager in her homeland of Brazil. She, her husband, Max and daughter Ana serve on our praise team bringing a rich and unique style to our worship services.
We are very grateful that God led this family to Central and we are thankful to be supporting them in their journey to settling here in the United States on a permanent basis.

Heather came to Central in September 2022. She provides clerical support to the pastor and staff. She is always willing to lend a helping hand to our church family. We greatly appreciate Heather and all she has done to support Central Baptist.
