Angela and her husband John lost their only child, Matthew, in August of 2022. Their only comfort was in knowing that one day they would see him again. Loss of a close loved one can impact all aspects of life, but John and Angela leaned on God for strength. In January of 2024, Angela met a co-worker who had lost a child and mentioned their church offered GriefShare. After lots of praying and research, and more praying, it was a no brainer to bring this ministry to Central Baptist Church. Since shortly after Matthew’s passing Angela has been driven to share with others what has helped her in her own grief and is excited that this program so closely aligned with the word of Jesus. It simply must be shared with others who are hurting.
