What To Expect When You Visit?
Visiting a new church can be intimidating: What should I wear? Where do I park? Where do my kids go?
We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit. Also, we understand it might be a little daunting for those who have never attended a church service before or are unfamiliar with our style of worship. To make it easier, this page gives you some idea of what to expect.
If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to contact us and we will arrange for someone to meet you and show you around.

When Are Services?
Services are on Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM and Sunday night at 6:00 PM. We also have a mid-week service on Wednesday night at 7:00 PM. Our main services are located in the auditorium.
How long are the services?
Sunday morning service typically last 75 minutes and our Sunday and Wednesday night services last around 60 minutes.
What should I wear?
We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing. In the summertime, it's not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and a shirt. Others prefer to still put on their "Sunday best," and that's fine too! We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.
How do I get to Central?
Central Baptist Church is located on Whitesville road just 1/5th mile west of the Welcome Center on Williams Road.
Where should I park?
The church driveway is one-way going in a counter-clockwise direction. We have reserved parking for handicap and vistors only. Please feel free to park in one of these spots or any available spot.
Where do my children go?
Powerhouse is the perfect place for your children 3 years old (potty trained) through fifth grade to go while you attend service. Children under 3 or those not yet potty trained can be left in the nursery.
Am I expected to put money in the offering?
If you are visiting with us, we don't expect you to put money in the offering, and you are welcome to just let it pass you by.
I have hearing and/or visual problems. Is there any special assistance?
Yes! For those who are hearing impaired, we have special hearing devices that you can wear that will allow you to control the volume. If you think this would be beneficial to you, pick one up at the sound booth in the back of the auditorium.
Can I listen to/watch a service?
Yes! The previous week's message can be found here.
