In the Bible, in Matthew 19:14, Jesus said, "Let the children come to Me. Don't stop them!"

Our Children's Ministry eagerly desires to reach out and minister to the precious children of our community. With programs and activites for infants through 5th graders, we are committed to providing a safe and fun environment that will enhance the spiritual, educational, and social development of these valuable young lives.

Throughout the year, the Children's Ministry sponsors many fun events such as Vacation Bible School, Pool Parties, Movie Nights, Easter Egg Hunt, Fall Festival, and day trips to zoos and parks.

AWANA

Our AWANA program takes place on Sunday evenings during the school year (September-May). AWANA's is for children ages 3 through sixth grade. In AWANA's, the children learn about God and the Bible, play games, and other exciting things. Click on the AWANA logo to read about the upcoming program at Central Baptist Church.

Sunday School and PowerHouse

On Sunday mornings, the children attend age-graded Sunday School classes. Then they participate in PowerHouse during the worship hour. On Wednesday nights, the children meet for crafts, music, Bible lessons, and other exciting things.

Children In Action

This is our Sunday night summer program for the children. In CIAs, children will experience fun, and bible lessons with a mission emphasis. For children ages Pre-K to 5th grade.

PeeWee Club

This is our Wednesday night program for kids from age 4 through 1st grade.

Kids Central

This is our Wednesday night program for kids from 2nd grade through 6th grade.
